Seth MacFarlane's 'Ted' prequel series is set to return for a second season, with a release date of March 5th on Peacock. The show, which stars MacFarlane as the talking teddy bear Ted, is a prequel to the 2012 comedy film of the same name. MacFarlane, who also serves as an executive producer, writer, and director, will once again bring the beloved character to life, along with the show's regulars from season 1, including Max Burkholder, Scott Grimes, Alanna Ubach, and Giorgia Whigham. The series is set in Framingham in the early '90s, drawing inspiration from MacFarlane's New England upbringing and the original movie's prologue. Season 2 will see John, Ted's human buddy, embark on his senior year of high school, with all eight new episodes released on the same day. But that's not all - Peacock has also announced an animated show in the works, with Mark Wahlberg and Amanda Seyfried reprising their roles from the film series, set to take place after their adventures in 'Ted 2'. With two shows in the works, 'Ted' fans are in for a treat, as the thunder buddies return for more hilarious adventures.
